Tamarind Spiced Tomato Hot Pot

  • Oil 40 ml
  • Cao Guo 8 g
  • Star Anise 2 g
  • Cinnamon 4 g
  • Dried Chilli 2 g
  • Green Chili 40 g
  • Ginger, sliced 60 g
  • Garlic, sliced 10 g
  • Carrot, diced 80 g
  • Potato, diced 100 g
  • Water 2000 ml

Garnish and Condiment

  • Watercress, washed 100 g
  • Lamb, sliced 300 g
  • Lamb Tripe, washed and blanched 100 g
  1. Tamarind Spiced Tomato Hot Pot

    • In a pot, dry roast spices till aromatic.
    • Add in oil, stir fried, garlic, ginger, green chili till fragrant.
    • Add in carrots, potatoes and roasted till caramelise.
    • Add in Knorr South East Asian Spice Paste, Knorr Tomato Paste and stir fried till fragrant.
    • Add in water, Knorr Pronto Tomato Sauce, bring to boil and let it simmer for 15mins.
    • Season with Knorr Concentrated Chicken Stock.
    • Fold in Knorr Concentrated Tamarind Sauce and set aside.
  2. Garnish and Condiment

    • Prepare ingredients as mentioned above.
  3. Before Serving

    • Bring stock to boil.
    • Add in condiments and cook meat till desired doneness.
    • Ready to serve.
