Plant Based Mala Meatballs
Made with The Vegetarian Butcher NoMeatballs, our mala meatballs are simmered in a mala sauce that's both tongue-numbing and tangy! Mozzarella cheese is sprinkled over the dish to add a touch of cheesiness, while the spring onions give it some colour.

Preparation

Mala Sauce
- Heat up oil in sauce pot. Sweat the garlic, ginger, and red pepper corn till fragrant.
- Fold in Knorr Pronto Tomato, mala paste, sugar and bring to boil.
- Let the mixture simmer for 2 mins. After that, fold in green pepper oil and stir well.
- Heat up oil in sauce pot. Sweat the garlic, ginger, and red pepper corn till fragrant.

- Assemble The Vegetarian Butcher NoMeatballs and mala sauce in a desire wares.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Preheat oven at 180°C and bake for 5 mins.
- Garnish with spring onions. Ready to serve.
